Projexel Engineering is proud to mark a major milestone in our corporate history. As of May 2026, we have officially commissioned our new state-of-the-art heavy fabrication shop at our primary manufacturing campus in Gujarat, increasing our total production capacity by 50%.
This strategic expansion is a direct response to a rapidly growing pipeline of domestic and international turnkey projects across the water treatment, steel manufacturing, chemical, and energy sectors.
Advanced Equipment & Capabilities
The new facility is engineered to handle massive components with extreme precision. The infrastructure includes:
- High-Capacity Overhead Cranes: Double-girder EOT cranes capable of lifting up to 30 tons, allowing us to assemble large-scale piping manifolds and heavy pressure vessels in-house.
- Automated Submerged Arc Welding (SAW): Column-and-boom welding systems that deliver flawless, high-strength welds for heavy structural sections and cylindrical shells.
- CNC Plate Cutting & Rolling: High-precision plasma and flame cutters capable of shaping up to 50mm thick carbon and stainless steel plates, coupled with 3-roll rolling machines.
"This expansion represents a massive leap forward in our manufacturing agility. By combining high-tonnage lifting capabilities with advanced automated welding, we can deliver pre-fabricated structural steel and piping modules faster than ever before."
A Commitment to Quality & Worker Safety
In line with our strict safety standards, the new shop features advanced dust extraction systems, dedicated sandblasting enclosures, and automated safety light curtains around high-speed rolling machinery. The building also incorporates rooftop solar panels, offsetting 30% of the facility's peak electricity draw as part of Projexel's ongoing green initiative.
Serving Our Partners
With this expansion, Projexel is poised to dramatically shorten fabrication timelines for our long-term partners, including Thermax, Praj Industries, Atul Limited, and Gujarat Guardian. By carrying out major fabrication steps in a highly controlled factory environment, we drastically minimize field welding and high-risk rigging, ensuring superior quality controls and lower field labor overheads.
